2009 Another year to remember

Well the year started with mags and I saving the life of 9 pups and their mom they turned out to be 9 out of 76 dogs we saved and found homes for in 2009, and it just seemed to go from bad to worse .Sadley we lost our Cleo/Cloey a young girl who needed our help but despite every effort of our vets Pete and James and Jill , Andrea , Mags and myself it was not to be for this little un R.I.P sweatheart . We also recently lost a dog called Zeus [ 5 yrs old ] on our vets advice an older dog with to many hip and joint problems for him to cope with .
This year seems as if it has been an uphill struggle all the way ,week after week it seems we have had more and more dogs who needed our help some more than others the likes of Ruby Tuesday ,Ambo, Baby Mala , Zues , Mason ,Sally , Harry , Faith ,Izzy ,Tizzy and Mizzy the three sisters are just a few who sping to mind this year cruelty cases all of them . Again we have saved many dogs from PTS situations . but all this could not be possible with out the support of you our sponsors and supporters the people who come forward to adopt the dogs ,the guys out there that help with fostering , home checking , fund raising, helping me with the running about etc you are all stars and a big part of this rescue so please give yourselves a pat on the back as without you it would not be possible for Z.R.R to do what we do .
2009 has been a busy year for all rescue's but non more than the independants like ourselves . This year our meet and greets have gone great our pet ambulance has been called apon a few times , our micro-chipping campaings have gone well ,and Spud has been called apon 3 times to give blood ,so with the rescue of 90 dogs 76 rehomed 10 with us over xmas all in all a busy year , now you know why the website is never upto date .
Well hear we are in 2010 , we are entering our 4th year of existance as an independant rescue , Who knows what our future will bring or how many dogs through out the year will need our help, as I type this 01/01/2010 we allready have 10 dogs in rescue with us over the xmas period from 9 weeks to 7 years old ,and 3 allready to bring in in the next week .So here we go another year LETS JUST HOPE WE AND ALL RESCUES ARE NOT AS BUSY AS WE WERE LAST YEAR .Some how I cant see it .
